Fact or "Fish"in???

This post goes out to my fishin hubby.
Fish Lake check, Otter Creek been there, Spring Lake, what?
So Mike has been all over ice fishing lately. The results, not so good. So last Saturday Mike gets an idea.......wait for it...........lets go fish out at Spring Lake. The kids were thrilled, me not so much. It was cold, muddy, windy, did I say cold!
Not being very prepared he made a quick stop in WalMart. Anyways we get there one of the roads is very muddy, but not to deter him he digs down the road. Only to hear him say it's too muddy here. Well off to the main gate (if you can call it that) it's locked! So what now? Well let's park off the main road and cast a line, sure how long is this going to take? By this time he tells me, "why don't you go see if your mom is home and come back for me." Since she lives a block away, that's where I was headed until..... You guessed he had barely thrown a line in and yup a fish. Well now to make a long story short, he called his brother Matt, who ironically was on his way to fish at Salem Pond who detoured to Spring Lake, texted my brother Jared, called Grandma Jane to bring us the fish dehooker, in the meantime (only about an hour) they had 12 bites and caught 6 fish. The biggest being the one in the pictures, weighing in at about 3 1/2 pounds. Of course we just had to show off his fish! So the secret is out, Spring Lake it is.
